This was such a fun set to make!
I just love these fabrics and together they are just delicious!
The
top was created with the Pink Casey Scroll. I added ruffled layers to
the front using the scroll, a very hard to find discontinued
Girlfriends Print and the Sis Boom Pink Eliza Stripe. The adjustable
ties in the stripe create a beautiful gathered look at the neckline.
The
pants are made from white twill fabric and have an elastic waist. The
waistband also includes 3 belt loops. The front leg has an appliquéd
flower created from all 3 fabrics found in the top. They are finished
at the hem with a double ruffle featuring 2 of the fabrics found in the
top. The pants are available as full length, capri or shorts.
To
complete this set I created a belt/sash in the Casey Scroll fabric that
ties beautifully around the waist of the pants. The sash can easily be
worn as a hair tie for a different look.
